With more than 15 years of diverse experience in counselling, I can offer culturally informed Mental Health and Financial Counselling Services.
I hold a PhD degree in Clinical Psychology and I use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and a Solution-Focused Approach in my work.

I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta (Registration #7364) with several yeas of experience in offering counseling services for trauma (including childhood adverse experiences), depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, parenting issues, discrimination and oppression, relational concerns, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), self-esteem, building self-confidence, bullying, burnout, phobia, marital issues, co-parenting and family counseling,
I strive to promote a counseling space that is welcoming for individuals from diverse backgrounds. I take time to customize my assessment and treatment plan based on individual/ unique needs and goals, as “one size doesn’t fit all”.
My therapeutic lens is strengths-based and compassionate. For me, helping is about meeting people where they are and creating a safe space by building a strong therapeutic alliance. I use different counseling approaches as CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Narrative Therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment) Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Sand Tray, Theraplay, and Art Therapy. I enjoy working with adults, youth, children, older adults, couples, parents, and family.
I offer counseling in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
